Thomas H. “Tom” Madan, 64, of Mansfield died on Monday June 19, 2006 at home surrounded by his loving and devoted family. He was the beloved husband of Carolyn H. (Robbins) Madan to whom he was wed to August 1, 1964.
Born in Brockton, MA on May 25, 1942 he was a dear son of the late Eugene and Ann (Beals) Madan.
Tom was educated in Mansfield schools and went on to graduate from Wentworth
Institute in Boston. He was employed as a Manager of Maintenance at the Foxboro Co. for 28 years prior to retiring.
He enjoyed boating, camping, snowmobiling and motorcycling but amongst all he treasured the times spent with his wife Carolyn and his dog “Mutley”. He had made his home in Mansfield for the past 35 years.
In addition to his beloved wife of 41 years he is survived by his devoted brother and sisters Clyde A. Madan of Mansfield, Nancy Nordbeck of Mansfield and Louise Conrad of St. Augustine, Florida. Also survived by his loving nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Friday June 23rd from 6-9 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home 55 North Main St. Mansfield.
Services and burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
