BETTY I. (KOMARANSKI) SWAB OBITUARY
Betty Irene (Komaranski) Swab, 91, of Commodore, PA died on Monday, July 31, 2023 at Scenery Hill Manor in Indiana, PA.
The daughter of Joseph P. Komaranski and Dorothy F. (Smail) Komaranski Gillen, she was born on August 22, 1931 in Raytown, Indiana Co., PA.
On March 28, 1949, she married Thomas A. Swab and they shared over thirty-four years of marriage together until his death on December 22, 1983.
Betty is survived by her children: Judith Ashley and partner Gaylene Stains of Indiana, PA; John L. Swab of Commodore, PA; Betty I. Bennett and husband Wyatt of Lock Haven, PA; Tina Riva and partner Blaine Fontanese of Commodore, PA; her five grandchildren: Adrienne Ashley; Anthony, Shawna and Jackie Riva and Thomas A. Swab III and wife April; numerous great and great-great grandchildren and her sister, Edith Bingaman of Glen Campbell, PA.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband and her son, Thomas A. Swab, Jr.
