Obituary



Kenneth P. Nadow, 72, of Worcester, passed away Monday, July 24th in the Rose Monahan Hospice Home, with his loving family at his side after a battle with lung cancer. He is survived by his mother, Bertha C. (Bissonnette) Nadow; his brothers, Donald R. Nadow of Worcester and Mark S. Nadow and his wife, Michelle of Charlton; three nieces, Jennifer Nadow, Victoria Avery and her husband, Shawn and Stephanie Nadow; two nephews, Christopher Nadow and his wife, Stacie and Dylan Nadow and several cousins. He was predeceased by his brother, Gary P. Nadow in 2021.

Ken was born in Worcester, his father was the late Robert E. Nadow; and was a graduate of the former Holy Name Elementary and Central Catholic High Schools and received his Bachelor's Degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute later earning his MBA from UMass-Amherst. Ken worked for Raytheon and later Western Union as a Project Manager and Marketing Professional and last worked at TransCore in Auburn for many years. He will be remembered as quiet, kind and generous man who enjoyed a good laugh and displayed a wonderful sense of humor. He also loved time spent at Hampton Beach and the New Hampshire seacoast. Fulfilling a life long dream Ken obtained his private pilots license, and enjoyed the freedom of flying small planes around the area; and was an avid fan of classic Rock and Roll throughout his life. Ken enjoyed spending time with his family, as well as time spent with nieces and nephews at family gatherings. He was a loving son, brother and uncle and sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.

His funeral will be held on Saturday, July 29th at Noon in O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Saturday, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service in the funeral home.
