Alison R. Flynn, age 65, of Taunton, formerly of Mansfield passed away at her residence on Tuesday, July 25, 2023. She was the loving daughter of the late David S., Sr. and Diana L. (Hallett) Flynn.
Born in Boston, MA on May 23, 1958, Alison grew up and was educated in Mansfield and was a member of the former Saint John the Evangelist Episcopal Church in Mansfield.
A resident of Taunton for the past twenty-five years, Alison enjoyed spending time with family and friends and listening to music. She had a deep love for animals, especially the cats that adorned her home throughout the years.
She was the dear sister of David S. Flynn, Jr. and his wife Cheryl of Cumberland, Rhode Island, Susan P. Flynn of Edgewater, Florida and Deborah W. Flynn of Attleboro. She was the loving aunt of William Devine and his wife Stephanie, Shannon Fitzgerald and her husband Sean and the late Craig Devine. She was the cherished great aunt of Saoirse Fitzgerald and Roisin Fitzgerald.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Saturday, August 5th from 3:00-5:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main Street, Mansfield. Burial will be held privately at a later date at the Spring Brook Cemetery in Mansfield.
