Obituary


Isabel T. (Gaultier) Ricci, a lifelong resident of Stoughton, passed away after a lengthy illness, at home, and under the care of Old Colony Hospice on Saturday June 17, 2006. She was 86 years old. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony A. Ricci to whom she was married to for 55 years.

Born May 25, 1920, in Stoughton, Massachusetts, she was the loving daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Polillio) Gaultier. She attended Stoughton Public Schools and Stoughton High School.

Mrs. Ricci was the proud owner and operator of Central Pizza in Stoughton for over thirty -five years. She was also a communicant and attended the Immaculate Conception Church in Stoughton. She was a dedicated public servant for various charitable organizations in the South Shore area, and also was a faithful volunteer at the West Acres Nursing Facility in Brockton.

Her hobbies included, sewing, crocheting, knitting, craft making, cooking and she had a special interest in doll making.

She is survived by her two children, Ronald J. Ricci and Carol A. Mongeau, both of Stoughton and a special friend Patricia LaBelle also of Stoughton. She was the cherished grandmother of Wendy Mongeau of Williamsburg,VA and Donna Mongeau of Stoughton. Other survivors include her brother Daniel Gaultier Sr. of Stoughton and her sisters Camilla Powers of Stoughton and Mary Ricci of Brockton, many nieces, nephews and friends. She was also pre-deceased by her brothers, Anthony C. Gaultier, Joseph Gaultier and her sisters, Margaret Howland and Rose Stuart.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday June 21, 2006 at 8:45 A.M. from the Sheehan Funeral Home, 115 Monk Street, Stoughton. Followed by a Mass Of Christian Burial in the Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton Street, Rt. 27, Stoughton at 10:15 A.M. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday June 20, 2006 from 6-8 P.M. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.
