Obituary

In Plymouth, Carolyn P. Eisenberg, age 85, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2023 while surrounded by her loving family following a lengthy period of declining health. Carolyn was preceded by her husband Howard Eisenberg and Manuel Phillips. She was born in Dighton, the daughter of the late Alfred & Virginia (Frado) Butler.
Carolyn had resided in Taunton since 1962. She was educated in Somerset schools. Carolyn worked in the Occupational Department at Taunton State Hospital, and later at the Life Care Center of Attleboro and of Raynham. She enjoyed volunteering at Morton Hospital, tending her gardens, golfing, taking walks, traveling, going to the beach, and above all cherished her time with friends and family.
Carolyn leaves her beloved children; Michael Phillips and his wife Diana of Taunton, Peter Phillips and his wife Deborah of East Taunton, and Carolyn Lucca and her husband Keith of Taunton. She also leaves her brother Gerald Butler and his wife Joyce Brothers of Medway, her grandchildren; Michelle Vernazzaro of Taunton, Benjamin Phillips of East Taunton, Elizabeth Roias of Somerset, and Anthony Lucca of Taunton.\ and great grandson Kyrein Sroczynski.
Funeral from the O’Keefe Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 on Wednesday from 9 am. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Nicholas of Myra Church in North Dighton at 10 am. Relatives and friends are also invited to visiting hours on Tuesday from 5-7 pm.
