FRANK E. REYNOLDS, 1ST. of Braintree, formerly of Weymouth and Hingham, died on Saturday, June 17th at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. He was 82. Mr. Reynolds was born, raised and educated in Hingham. During World War II, he served with the United States Army. Mr. Reynolds was a heavy equipment operator for the Town of Hingham Highway Dept. for over 20 years, retiring in 1990. Following his years in Hingham, he lived in Weymouth for 20 years before moving to Braintree two years ago.
Husband of the late Doris P. (MacMahan) Reynolds, he leaves his son, Frank E. Reynolds, 2nd of Braintree and four daughters; Elizabeth Barge of Manchester, NH, Deborah Silva of Quincy, Joan Reynolds of Weymouth and Susan Bilski of Framingham. He was the brother of Flora Bell Cushing of Hingham, Everett L. Reynolds of Springfield, IL, the late Walter E. Reynolds, Jr. and the late Ethel Bradshaw. Also survived by 6 grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be conducted on Wednesday, June 21st at 11 AM at the Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel, 21 Pond St., Hingham.
Friends may visit at the Downing Chapel on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Alzheimers Disease Support Group of the South Shore (ADSGSS), P.O. Box 109, Hingham, MA 02043.
The interment is to be private.
