FALL RIVER… Theresa A. (Carvalho) Place died on Monday, July 3, 2023 with her family and close friends by her side.
Terri was employed by Charlton Memorial Hospital for 23 years. She was a hospice volunteer, sitting with patients in their homes.
Her love of music kept her young at heart and she would love to dance; especially to “Old Time Rock & Roll”. Terri enjoyed bingo, jigsaw puzzles and word games as well as shopping on-line. She cherished her family and loved spending time with them.
She leaves behind her son, Denis R. Duquette, and daughter-in-law Sandy, of Westport, MA; her daughter, Doreen A. Manchester, of Tiverton, RI; her grandson, Aaron Manchester, and great-granddaughter Nevaeh L. Ponte.
Terri was preceded in death by her beloved husband, the late Timothy J. Place as well as her granddaughter, the late Bethany L. Ponte and her son, the late Daryl J. Duquette.
A Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited to attend will be held on Monday, July 24, 2023 at 11 AM at Our Lady of Grace Rectory, 569 Sanford Road, Westport, MA 02790.
