Obituary

Richard W. “Todd” Greenleaf a lifelong Needham resident died suddenly on June 15th in Wethersfield CT as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was 22 years old. Born in Boston, Todd grew up in Needham, attended Needham public schools and was a graduate of Needham High School Class of 2002. While at Needham High, he played varsity hockey and lacrosse. Todd was currently a senior at the University of Hartford. He was a former employee of Huge Landscaping and Alden Builders. Todd was co-owner of T&R Service in Needham and was serving an internship in the management program with Enterprise Rent A Car in Connecticut. He was an avid snowboarder and snowmobiler. The beloved son of Richard W. Jr. and Kim (Eldridge) Greenleaf of Needham, Todd was the loving brother of Kristin and Erin of Needham. Dear grandson of Elizabeth and Preston MacDonald of P. E. I. Canada, Arthur Schmall of Dedham and the late Nancy Lee Schmall and Richard W. Greenleaf Sr. Great grandson of John Woodruff of Florida and the late Margaret (Rice)Woodruff. Dear companion and longtime boyfriend of Carissa Balyosian of Needham. Also survived by many cherished aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral Services at the Carter Memorial United Methodist Church, 800 Highland Ave Needham on Wednesday June 21st at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours at the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave Needham on Tuesday 4-8 PM. Interment at Needham Cemetery. Memorial donations in Todd's name may be sent to the scholarship fund being set up at Needham High School in his name.
