Michael Anthony Ellis, the late son of Hyacinth Brown & Edwin Ellis, was born September 15th, 1964, in Clarendon, Jamaica W.I. Affectionately known to his family and friends as Dennis, he spent his early years in Jamaica and graduated from Clarendon College. He later migrated to the U.S. on January 20, ,1985 and began to establish his new life in Boston, Massachusetts. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Chemistry from The University of Massachusetts Boston. Michael had a passion for Real Estate and a desire to create generational wealth. He worked extremely hard to achieve his goal of becoming a broker. And he remained a broker with Keller Williams Realty for several years before his untimely passing. Health and wellness were of the utmost importance to Michael and he lived a lifestyle that was centered around this daily. He was known by all who loved him as someone dedicated to eating right, exercising and being diligent about taking very good care of himself. When Michael was not working, he could be found fishing, camping or spending quality time with his family and his cat. He was the life of the party and he had an infectious smile that lit up the room. His presence could shift an atmosphere and the light he shined will never be dimmed even in his passing.

Richardson, Claudeen Ellis, Nadine Ellis Lindsay, Alethia Ellis and brothers Herman Watson, Curtis Campbell, Greg Ellis, Omar Ellis, Alex Ellis, Desmond Ellis, Kidroy Ellis Delroy Ellis and partner Maria Ortiz (Mari). He was preceded in death by his mother Hyacinth Brown and his father Edwin Ellis.

Viewing hour will be on Thursday July 13, 2023 from 10-11 AM followed by a Religious Service from 11-12 PM in the Joseph Russo Funeral Home, 814 American Legion Highway, Roslindale, MA. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery, 427 Cummins Highway, Roslindale, MA.
