BREWSTER__ Anna (Mard) Shilansky Vieraitis, 84, formerly of 10B Frederick Court, Brewster, died on Wednesday June 14. Her husband, Albert Vieraitis died some years ago.
She leaves her son, Joseph Shilansky of Rumney, N.H., and three grandchildren, Jennifer Young, Kyle Joseph Shilansky and Nadia Krystina Shilansky. She also leaves a brother, Michael Mard and a sister, Kay Langevin. She was predeceased by a daughter, Sheila Ann Shilansky, two brothers, Leo and Sonny Mard and two sisters, Mae Mard Fouscher and Helen Kangus. Anna was born in Worcester, a daughter of Frank and Catherine (O’Grady) Mard and lived there prior to moving to Brewster in 1988. She attended schools in Worcester.
Mrs. Vieraitis worked at Worcester Polytechnic Institute and David Clark Co., before retiring. She was an avid bowler and was a former member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Worcester.
A graveside service was held on Friday, June 16 in St. John’s Cemetery, 260 Cambridge St. Worcester. DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St., Worcester directed funeral arrangements.
