Giordano, Albert P. "Lefty" age 67 of Dumont formerly of Palisades Park and Tenafly died Wednesday, June 14, 2006 after a courageous battle with Lung Cancer. Beloved husband of Frances (nee Grasso). Loving and devoted father of Maria of Dumont, and Joseph and his wife Lea of New Milford. Dear brother of Frank and his wife Bunny, Gary and his wife Jasey, and Rosemary and her husband Harry. Cherished “Grandpa Al” of Eric. He is also survived by his many loving nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his adored son Albert, Jr. (1969) and his parents Alphonse (1973) and Mary (2002). Dear friend of Manny, Chris, Vinny, and Tara. He will be missed by his pet cat Lexi. He was self employed as a Master Plumber with Giordano Plumbing and Heating. He was the two time Exhaulted Ruler of the Tenafly Elks B.P.O.E #2271. focusing on Crippled Children. He was a parishioner at Sacred Heart in Haworth and served in the U.S. Army. Funeral service Saturday, 10am from the Volk Leber Funeral Home, 268 Kinderkamack Rd., Oradell. Then to Sacred Heart RC Church, Haworth for an 11am Mass of Christian Burial. Interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park. Family and friends are invited to visit Friday 2-4 & 7-9pm.
