Stephanie “Stella” (Kopcych) Lesprance, 89, died June 13th in the Life Care Of West Bridgewater, after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late George H. Lesprance.
Born and bought up in Bridgewater, daughter of the late John and Antonia (Cihanowic) Kopcych. She attended Bridgewater schools
Stella lived in Halifax for many years and was the owner and operator of,”The Hat Shop” in Bridgewater ,then Stella’s Restaurant in Halifax for 45 years.
Stella was an independent and remarkable woman and enjoyed bingo, playing cards and crocheting.
She is survived by her son and daughter George Lesperance and Florence Howell both of Bridgewater, 4 granddaughters 7 great grandsons, 2 great granddaughters and 1 great great grandson.
