Juan Ascanio Pena, 50 of Lynn, passed away due to the result of an accident on Thursday, June 1, 2023. He was born on September 22, 1972 in Puerto Rico, where he resided until 2001 when he relocated to the United States, settling in Lowell. He was a hard working man, who worked as a landscaper his entire life.
He is survived by his daughters, Fanitsa Comtois of Chelmsford, Mersede Pena-Comtois of Lowell, Alexia Comtois of Lowell, and Renesme Martel of Lynn; and two grandchildren, Jomi and Skai. He is also survived by his parents, Manuela Aurora Pena and Milciade Bernabel, his brothers, Omar Pena of Lynn, Yoan Pena and Eduar Pena; and the mother of his children, Michelle Comtois.

On Friday, June 16, 2023 all are welcome to attend his calling hours from 5 - 7 p.m. at McDonough Funeral Home, 14 Highland Street, Lowell. His funeral service will take place in the funeral home at 7 p.m. following the calling hours.

LYNN Juan Ascanio Pena, 50 de Lynn, falleció producto de un accidente el jueves 1 de junio de 2023. Nació el 22 de septiembre de 1972 en Puerto Rico, donde residió hasta el 2001 cuando se mudó a los Estados Unidos , estableciéndose en Lowell. Era un hombre trabajador, que trabajó como paisajista toda su vida.
Le sobreviven sus hijas, Fanitsa Comtois de Chelmsford, Mersede Pena-Comtois de Lowell, Alexia Comtois de Lowell y Renesme Martel de Lynn; y dos nietos, Jomi y Skai. También le sobreviven sus padres, Manuela Aurora Pena y Milciade Bernabel, sus hermanos, Omar Pena de Lynn, Yoan Pena y Eduar Pena; y la madre de sus hijos, Michelle Comtois.

El viernes 16 de junio de 2023 todos son bienvenidos a asistir a su horario de atención de 5 a 7 p.m. en McDonough Funeral Home, 14 Highland Street, Lowell. Su funeral tendrá lugar en el tanatorio a las 19:00 horas. siguiendo el horario de convocatoria.
