Romania Marie Ingram Reeves, 90, of Irwin County, Georgia, died Sunday, June 4, 2023, at Palemon Gaskins Memorial Nursing Home in Ocilla, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at Waterloo Baptist Church in Irwin County, Georgia, with the Rev. Dr. Jeff Pangle and the Rev. Ray Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Big Creek Cemetery, in Irwin County. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services in the sanctuary of the church.
Mrs. Reeves was born October 14, 1932, in Eustis, Florida, the only child of the late Joe & Flora Mae Williams Ingram. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Florida State University and she retired from the Irwin County Board of Education as the secretary to the Assistant Superintendent. Mrs. Reeves was a Pastor’s wife and a member of Waterloo Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Ed Reeves of Irwin County; a son, Jimmy Reeves & Sherry of Perry; a daughter, Debbie Sullivan & Victor of Perry; grandchildren: Matt Reeves & Stephanie and Brad Reeves & Becky; and great-grandchildren: Matthew Reeves, Johnathan Reeves, Walker Reeves and Merritt Reeves.
