Obituary

WEBSTER - Doreen H. (Stiles) Lebel, 69, died on Thursday, June 1, 2023 in the Overlook Charlton surrounded by her family. Her husband of 50 years, Henry P. Lebel died on June 6, 2022.

She leaves her 5 children, Theresa Saveall and her spouse Kevin of Leominster, Christopher Lebel and his spouse Heather of North Brookfield, Jennifer McGhee and her spouse Michael of Worcester, Michelle Rosado and her spouse Enrique of Oxford, and Melissa Carter and her spouse Paul of Dudley; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 8 siblings; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Christine Biggins in 2015.

She was born on October 6, 1953 in Worcester and raised there, a daughter of Walter and Corrine (Meola) Stiles. She lived in Webster for 23 years.

Mrs. Lebel worked as a Certified Nurses Assistant and was a homemaker.

Doreen was loved by many. Her infectious laugh and practical jokes always had everyone laughing right along with her.

She loved to make big family meals and was well known for her baking, especially the Italian cookies she baked at Christmas time for her loved ones.

To all the staff at the Overlook in Charlton, who cared for both of our parents, there are not enough words to express the compassion, love and outstanding care they both received over the last 2 years of their lives. The Lebel’s children thank every one of you with sincere gratitude.

A celebration of her life will be held at the convenience of the family. Donations in her name may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 100 North Parkway, Worcester, MA 01605. Arrangements are under the direction of Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street.
