Sandra J. (Reed) McCracken, 79 of East Bridgewater, Massachusetts died peacefully on May 27 at home surrounded by loving family.
Sandra affectionately called Mimsey; was born in South Boston, Massachusetts on October 8, 1943 to Pauline (Cole) Amrock and Charles W. Reed Sr.
Sandra grew up with pride in Southie and her siblings; where she developed her love for friends, cooking, and homemaking. She was an accomplished seamstress and a devoted employee for Brockton Hospital for over 30 years, where she worked with her late husband of 35 years, William P. McCracken for much of her life.
She leaves behind her son Doug McCracken and his wife Lisa, her son David McCracken and her daughter Kathryn (McCracken) LeBlanc and her husband Paul, her grandchildren and joys of her life; Ryan, Giovanni, Brayden and Virginia. Sandra also leaves behind her brothers and sisters; Bernice Mandeville, Ronald Reed, James Reed, Timothy Reed, William Reed, Judith Reed, Richard Reed, Robert Reed, Donna Reed, Charlene “Patty” Reed, and Paul Reed.
Sandra was predeceased by her eldest grandson Michael Osborne, her brother Peter Reed, her sister Mary Reed-Alden and her brother Charles Reed. In addition to her large family, Sandra will also be deeply missed by the expansive extended family of friends and loved ones.
Relatives and friends will join in celebration of her life at a later date. By preference of family, there will be no services.
