Ernestine L. Kollock, 81, of Warner Robins, Georgia, died Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at her residence.
Graveside services will be held 2 PM, Saturday, May 27, 2023, at the Broxton City Cemetery, in Broxton, Georgia, with the Rev. Terry Cole officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until 1 PM at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mrs. Kollock was born May 26, 1941, in Broxton, Georgia, to the late John A. Lyon & Leona Graham Lyon McKinnon. She was a machine operator for Boeing. Mrs. Kollock loved her kids and grandkids and always had their backs. She looked forward to summertime, when she could spend more time with her kids. Friends of her kids often called her “Mama”. Mrs. Kollock enjoyed shopping on QVC and she was known to be styling and profiling.
She is survived by a son & daughter-in-law, Michael Perry Kollock & Sharon of Kinston, North Carolina; daughters and sons-in-law: Sycondia Jean Kollock of Warner Robins, Sybrennia James & Tony of Warner Robins and Leona Elizabeth “Lisa” Davidson & Allen of Abbeville; grandchildren: Matthew Kollock, Justin James, Kyle James, Kayla Kollock, Angela Davidson, Elijah Davidson and Megan Kollock; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and one sister: Hilda Vickers of Ambrose. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Perry Kollock; three grandchildren: Brandon Helmick, Ashley Davidson and Michael Paul Kollock; and two sisters, Shirley Shaw and Sara Owens.
