Burlington – James Wassall, age 70, passed away Sunday, May 14, 2023 at Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA. He overcame many extremely difficult health problems for years, but he finally lost the battle. He Re-united with his first wife and longtime love, Leslie after 32 years apart, and they were able to spent 13 wonderful years together.
He was born in New Bedford, MA to Elmer “Red” Wassall and Betty Wassall. He was a graduate of BCC, and spent some time as an occupation therapy assistant. Most of his career though, was spent as a tractor trailer driver, mostly for Roadway Express and Superline. He loved motorcycles, and rode his whole life until his health wouldn’t allow it.
He is survived by his loving fiancé Leslie (Patla) Gadbois; his son Patrick Wassall and his partner Rianna Bird; his stepson Lucas Gadbois and his fiancé Kara Snow and her children; his brothers Donald Wassall and his wife Jane, Tom Wassall and his wife Banslee; his sister Nancy Turner and her daughter Jessica Langlois who he adores, along with her husband Jeff and Children; as well as his sister in law martha and family.
He was predeceased by his brother R. Ken Wassall.
