Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street(Rte 123) Brockton Friday at 8 am. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 9 am. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, W. Bridgewater.

Obituary
Mr. Slaney died Tuesday at the Brockton Hospital.Born in Brockton, son of the late Frederick and Florence (McGowan) Slaney. Graduate of Brockton High School Class of 1940. He retired as a salesman from the Brockton Wholesale Beverage Co. During WW II he served in the US Army, he was also a member of the VFW Post of Stoughton.
He enjoyed golf, working around the yard and he also enjoyed following the Brockton Rox Baseball Team and spending time with his family and his fivegrandchildren and 2 greatgrandchildren.
He is survived by a son Gordon H. Slaney, Jr. of Abington and a daughter Karen Reynolds of Whitman. 5 grandchidren and 2 great grandchildren A sister Verna YoungCompanion Mary LeClairHe was the husband of the late Doris L.
