Obituary

NORTH BROOKFIELD__Beverly Ann Valinski (Cunic Yvanauskas) 85, of N. Brookfield, MA passed away suddenly at home on May 17.

She leaves her husband of 37 years, Ronald Valinski; her children and grandchildren, Joseph (Laurie) Yvanauskas and Casey; Debra Giovannucci, Amanda and Jonathan; Michael (Annie) Yvanauskas and Kristina; as well as her sister, Patricia (Alfred) Forand. She also leaves behind her husband’s children and grandchildren, Ronald Valinski, Jr. (Angela), Robert Valinski and Carol (Michael) Maloney. Ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Beverly was born in Worcester the daughter of the late Mary (Sabonaitis) and Vincent Cunic. She was predeceased by her first husband, Richard Yvanauskas, and son-in-law Clifford Giovannucci.

Beverly worked at the Paul Revere Life Insurance Company and at Headstart. She was a den mother for the Cub Scouts. She loved watching the Red Sox, and traveled to Spring Training. She enjoyed cruising, knitting/crocheting, and spending time at the lake with her family. She loved her Lithuanian heritage and traditions, especially listening and dancing to the polkas and she enjoyed her membership at the Froshinn Club.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at 10:00 AM in HENRY – DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St, Worcester. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours in the funeral home are Wednesday May 24, 2023 from 9:00 to 10:00 AM before the service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choosing.
