Dana Dampier, 62, of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee passed away Sunday, May 14, 2023, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. A graveside funeral service will be held for Mr. Dampier at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 18, 2023, at Oak Ridge Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest. The Rev. Rickey Wells will officiate.
Born April 6, 1961, in Tifton, Mr. Dampier was the son of the late Jack Dampier, Sr. and Eloise Griffin Dampier. He was also preceded in death by a niece, Ginny Dampier. Before retiring, he worked as a tour bus driver.
Mr. Dampier is survived by his life partner, Elaine Mahan of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee; three daughters, Christie Goff, Rachel Wagner and Angie Pollard; two brothers, Dale Dampier and Jack Dampier, Jr.; a sister-in-law, Debra Dampier; six grandchildren, Aaron Powell, Madison Brown, Kellie Higdon, Chance Goff, Devin Gervais and Alyssa Pollard; and five great-grandchildren, Jayden, Sophie, Case, Mila and Caden.
