Barbara W. Straight, L.P.N., 99, passed away peacefully on Thursday May 4, 2023 at Granite State VNA Hospice House in Concord, NH. She was the wife of the late William H. Straight, Jr. who died in December 2003. Barbara had lived on Sebille Road in Smithfield for 75 years before moving to Pittsfield, NH. Barbara was a graduate of the RI Hospital Training School for Nursing and had worked as an L.P.N. as a medical office manager before retiring. Barbara was lifetime member of the Eastern Star and a descendant and member of the Roger Williams Association. Barbara is survived by her 4 sons, Milton “Buddy” Straight of Leesburg FL, Dennis H. Straight of Pittsfield NH, Gregory W. Straight of Smithfield, RI and Terry W. Straight of Orford NH, 10 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Gerald and Milton Williams. A graveside service will be held Thursday, May 25, 2023 at the Winsor Family Cemetery at 122 Winsor Avenue, Johnston RI.
