Caterina (Sorrenti) Carchedi of Allston passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2006. She was 74 years of age.
Born in Polia, Italy, Caterina was the loving daughter of the late Antonio Sorrenti and Laura (Costa) Sorrentil. Caterina was a warm and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be missed by all.
Caterina was a dedicated homemaker. She was devoted to her family. They were first and foremost in her life. Caterina loved to garden and always enjoyed the company of others.
Caterina was the beloved wife of the late Francesco Carchedi. She was the devoted mother of Frank, Antonio, Carmelina and Vincenzo Carchedi. Caterina was the cherished grandmother of 4 and the dear sister of 4 brothers and 2 sisters, all of Italy.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Wednesday at 8am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Caterina’s life in St. Patrick’s Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 9am. Entombment Holy Cross Mausoleum, Malden.
