Martha “Mickey” Latham, 72, of Fitzgerald, died Sunday, June 11, 2006 at Dorminy Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 14, 11:00 A.M., at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Bobby Stone officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held at 7:00 until 9:00 Tuesday evening, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Latham was born March 29, 1934, in Fitzgerald Georgia, to the late Raymond and Margaret Armantrout Milligan. She lived in the community all of her life. Mrs. Latham was a former employee of Fitzgerald Underwear, McClelland’s 5&10, Moores Department Store and Walmart. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church. Mrs. Latham was an avid flower gardener.
Mrs. Latham is survived by her husband of 55 years: Maynard “Bug” Latham, Jr., sons and daughter-in-law: Wayne & Marvelle Latham and Freddy Latham, all of Fitzgerald; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; brothers: Dick Milligan and Jack Milligan, both of Fitzgerald; sisters: Helen Dunn and Betty Martin, both of Fitzgerald and Barbara Gravitt of Tifton.
