FALL RIVER… Francis “Frank” P. Czajka, 83, of Fall River, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at St. Anne’s Hospital surrounded by loved ones.
He was the loving husband of the late Phoebie J. (Miller) Czajka to whom he had been married for 40 years prior to her passing in 2019.
Born in Fall River, Frank was the son of the late Frank J. and Sophie (Pruchnik) Czajka. He had lived most of his life in Fall River.
Frank was a 1958 Diman Vocational High School graduate and became a Master Electrician. He was the owner of Niagara Electric in Fall River. He was also a former Fall River Rod and Gun Club member. He enjoyed fixing cars, reading books and newspapers, following politics, listening to music and local talk radio, feasting on a good meal, and spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his daughter, Linda Arruda and her husband Matthew of Somerset; his sons: Frank Czajka of Sacramento, CA and Andrew Czajka and his wife Cristiane of Cranston, RI; his stepdaughter, Marilyn Bertrand and her companion Paul Neronha of Fall River; his sister, Veronica Courville of Somerset, along with many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at 9 AM from South Coast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant Street Fall River, MA 02723 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at Holy Trinity Parish, 951 Stafford Rd, Fall River, MA 02721. Interment will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, May 16, 2023, from 5 – 8 PM.
