Obituary




TEWKSBURY Howard W. ‘Howie’ Pellerin, 79 of Tewksbury, passed away after an accident on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Lowell General Hospital. He was the husband of Patricia A. (Sweeney) Pellerin with whom he shared the last 58 years of marriage.

He was born in Larry’s River, Nova Scotia, Canada and was a son of the late John and the late Elsie (Avery) Pellerin. He was raised in the Larry’s River area, where he attended the area schools in Guysborough. In his teenage years, he and his older brother relocated to Montreal before moving to Tewksbury in the late 1950’s and making his home.

Howie worked as a plater at a Light Metal Platers in Waltham, MA for over 30 years before his retirement. He was a communicant of St. William's Church in Tewksbury for many years.

He loved to watch hockey and play the guitar, which he loved to play for friends and family at gatherings and get togethers. He also enjoyed spending time in his yard.

In addition to his wife, Patricia of Tewksbury, he is survived by his three sons, John Pellerin of Tewksbury, Mark Pellerin of Tewksbury, and Jim Pellerin and his wife, Julie of Nashua, NH; his two granddaughters, Katryn and Emma; his sister in law, Joyce Scalese and her husband, Richie of Woburn; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his brothers, the late Leo Pellerin and the late Malcom Pellerin.
