Obituary

Fredrick T.J. ‘Fred’ Llewellyn, 37 of Dracut, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 after a courageous battle with lung cancer at his home with his loving family by his side. He was the dedicated husband of Nicole ‘Nikki’ (Chasse) with whom he shared the last 13 years.

He was born in East Boston and was a son of the late Cheryl Ann (Gauthier) Llewellyn and Kenneth G. Llewellyn of Nashua, NH. He was raised in Dracut, where he attended the Campbell School and Greater Lowell Technical High School.

Fred owned and operated Fred’s Landscaping in Dracut, serving homes and business throughout Lowell, Dracut and Pelham for over 15 years before illness forced his retirement. He also worked at Market Basket Warehouse since May of 2016, where he formed many friendships.

Fred enjoyed improving his truck and buying new trucks. He loved spending time traveling with his wife and friends to attend truck shows throughout the east coast. Fred was a hardworking dedicated family man and loved working hard to splurge on his family and friends. He will be remembered for his generosity and his dedication to help out anyone in need. Although he had many passions and many friends, time spent with Nikki and Emma brought him the greatest joy.

In addition to his loving wife, Nikki Llewellyn of Dracut, and his father, Ken Llewellyn of Nashua, NH; he is survived by his beloved daughter, Emma Llewellyn of Dracut; and his favorite dog, Trixie.

He is also leaves behind his siblings, Sandra Dalphond and her companion, Steve of Chelsea, Kimberly Silva and her husband, Mario of Lowell, Lisa Marie Taylor and her husband, Dave of Lowell, Cynthia Teneriello and her husband, Scott of Nashua, NH, and Erin Kassam of Haverhill, and Jonathan Llewellyn and his companion, Hannah of Nashua, NH; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

His biological siblings, Elizabeth Shaw, Robert LaMarche, Eric LaMarche, Brenda Campbell, Freddy LaMarche, Danny LaMarche, Thomas LaMarche, Michael LaMarche, Patrick Starr, Jennifer McDonald and David Starr; and many more nieces and nephews.

His in laws, Allison and Neil Murphy of Dracut, Kevin Chasse of Tyngsboro, Leah Chasse of Hudson, NH, Tyler Murphy of Tyngsboro; and many great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and several close friends.

Fred was welcomed into heaven by his mother, the late Cheryl Ann (Gauthier) Llewellyn; and his biological parents, the late Frederick W. LaMarche and the late Margaret McDonald.

His family would like to express a special thanks to everyone who has been so supportive and helpful during this incredibly difficult time.

On Tuesday, May 16, 2023 all are welcome to attend his calling hours from 12 noon - 2 p.m. at McDonough Funeral Home, 14 Highland Street, Lowell, 978-458-6816. His funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 2 p.m.
