Wallace Dean Arnett, 79, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, formerly of Brunswick, Georgia, passed away surrounded by his family, Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at his residence.
Private services will be held at a later date.
Mr. Arnett was born November 22, 1943, in Brunswick, Georgia, to the late Edwin Buster & Hazel Kennedy Arnett. Mr. Arnett honorably served in the United States Navy. He was an auto technician and loved working. He was known as the best transmission man around. Mr. Arnett enjoyed riding motorcycles and tinkering with cars.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Lane Arnett of Fitzgerald; four children: Lance Edwin Arnett & Tamara of Middleburg, Florida, Deena Arnett Young of Fitzgerald, Tammy Ellen Arnett of Brunswick and Tabitha Arnett Carelock of Fitzgerald; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Arnett.
