On May 2nd, 2023, Joyce Karczmarczyk passed away peacefully in her sleep just weeks after learning she had cancer. She was 66 years old.
Joyce was the embodiment of kindness, who always put the needs of others before her own. She loved children and spent nearly 20 years working in childcare.
In her spare time, she could usually be found reading (Stephen King and Dean Koontz were her favorites), playing games, crocheting, watching NASCAR, and of course, catching a Peanuts Holiday special whenever they were playing.
Her compassionate nature shone brightly. A maternal presence to many beyond her biological children, she answered to "Mama Joyce" by her coworkers, and was "Mom" to many of her children's friends.
She will be deeply missed by many, and those lucky enough to have known her, hold her memory close.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, John, her eldest daughter and son-in-law Patricia and Aaron, son and daughter-in-law, Walter and Marlana, youngest daughter, Mary, and her granddaughter. She also leaves her families pets; Kaldori, Cobalt, Macchiato and Meringue.
A memorial service for Joyce will be held at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home at 110 Bridge St. in Manchester, NH on Saturday, May 20th from 2-4pm.
