DAYVILLE, CT – Dawn M. (Gliniecki) Pringle, 49, died Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at home in the presence of her family after a courageous battle with cancer.
She leaves her husband of 10 years, Patrick S. Pringle; her mother, Judy M. (Barney) Gliniecki of Dudley, MA; 2 brothers, Corey W. Gliniecki and her twin Shawn J. Gliniecki, both of Dudley; aunts and uncles, especially Aunt Ellie and Uncle Freddie Coonan of North Grosvenordale; cousins and friends. She also leaves her beloved mixed lab Django and her cats Baby Boy and Baby Girl.
She was born on December 20, 1973 in Webster, MA and was raised in Dudley, daughter of the late William R. Gliniecki and graduated from Shepherd Hill Regional High School in 1992.
Dawn worked at the corporate office of Xtramart In North Grosvenordale, first as a switchboard operator and then on the buying team until the company was sold in 2015. She loved watching sunsets, making crafts, enjoying good humor, and eating M & M’s. Her husband, family, pets and friends were the center of her life.
Memorial calling hours will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 PM on Sunday, May 21 in Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street, Webster, MA, with a time of remembrance beginning at 3:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to Dana Farber Cancer Institute for Research, 450 Brookline Avenue, Boston, MA 02215.
