WORCESTER- Rita M. Sundin, 84, of Worcester, formerly of Heard Street, died Saturday, Aug. 10, in UMass Memorial Medical Center - Memorial Campus after an illness.
She leaves a brother, John A. Sundin of Millbury; two sisters, Dorothy E. Lederer of Paxton and Florence E. Guertin of Worcester; nephews and nieces. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Albert and Agnes (Morrissey) Sundin, and graduated from South High School.
Ms. Sundin was an office clerk for Clover Sterns Co. before retiring. She was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church and its Thursday Afternoon Club.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, Aug. 13, from Fay Brothers Funeral Home, 9 Hammond St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association of Eastern Massachusetts, 36 Cameron Ave., Cambridge, MA 02140.
