WORCESTER-Claire H. (Martin) Crowe, 95, formerly of 30 Wyola Drive, died Friday, June 9th, in Autumn Village Nursing Center. Her husband was the late Edward Crowe. Two sons, Peter Crowe and Edward “Teddy” Crowe, two brothers, Francis W. and Walter J. Martin, and a sister, Doris Barrett predeceased her. She leaves two grandsons, Kevin and Christopher Crowe, and several nephews and nieces.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of William and Helena (Foley) Martin and graduated from Salter Secretarial School. Mrs. Crowe had worked as head cashier at the Barbazon Hotel in New York City. She was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church and enjoyed reading.
The funeral is Wednesday, June 14th, from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street, Worcester, MA 01603.
