BUXTON- David Alan Jose, age 76, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Joy Valley on April 25, 2023.
He was born on May 24, 1946, in Biddeford, Maine, a son of the late Lawrence and Verna (Lyon) Jose and graduated from Bonny Eagle High School where he excelled in playing Basketball.
Over David’s working years he was employed at Sylvania, Peter D. Pinkham, West Point Stevens, Stuart Gannett, Southern Maine Paving, and most recently at Buxton Hannaford’s.
David enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, gambling, dancing, and happy hour.
Besides his parents- David is predeceased by his son- Ricky Morse; and a brother- Larry Jose.
David is survived by his beloved wife- Brenda (Winnie) Jose; children- Tina Hutchins and her husband “Hutch” of Lyman, David Jose and his wife Donna of Hollis, and Christina Morse of Buxton; brother- Wayne Jose and his wife Joyce of Buxton; grandchildren- Christopher, Cameron, Damen, Tianna, Richard, William, and Leah; his former spouses- Kathryn and Cathy; and the entire Happy Hour Crew.
A memorial service with USAF Honors will be held on Sunday, May 7 th at 2 PM at the Hollis Center Church, 388 Hollis Road, Hollis.
