Donna M. Elliott, 77

Donna M. Elliott, age 77, of Norton, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 21, 2023 at the New England Sinai Hospital in Stoughton. She was the former wife of the late Dale R. Elliott.
Donna was an avid gardener and took great pride in her yard across from the lagoon. She also enjoyed crocheting, making sweaters and blankets for new babies and friends, as well as her famous slippers in her grandchildren’s school colors. Her children and grandchildren enjoyed making Rausets, a Latvian pastry filled with smoked shoulder and bacon, with her before the holidays. Even as her mobility decreased Donna stayed connected at the Norton Senior Center attending Meditation classes and sharing favorite books and healing balms.
Donna is survived by her eldest son Darryl and his wife Patti and their children Tommy and Jack of Milton, MA and her youngest son Dwayne and his wife Shannon and their three children Nick, Chris and Samantha of Plymouth, MA. She is also survived by many friends and neighbors who provided her with love and support throughout the years allowing her to remain in her home with her many beloved pets.
The family asks friends and neighbors to join them for a Celebration of Donna’s life on Saturday, April 29, 2023 from noon to 3pm at Sabatino’s Trattoria located at 111 West Main Street in Norton. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Norton Senior Center in Donna’s memory 55 West Main Street, Norton, MA 02766.
