Obituary

Raymond E. Lemoine, 79, of Homosassa, FL, formerly of Greenville, died April 13, 2023 at Oak Hill Hospital in Brooksville, Florida. He was the husband of Jo-Ann (Maynard) Lemoine.
Born in Providence, RI, he was a son of the late Frederick J. and Irene B. (Boucher) Lemoine. He lived in Homosassa, FL after moving from Greenville, RI in 2000.
Ray had worked as a tour guide for Collette Tours for 20 years before retiring. He enjoyed photography, politics, the stock market, tracking local elections and the weather. He enjoyed playing bingo at the Lions Club, and watching Ponderosa and Gunsmoke, the Waltons, and Jeopardy. Ice Cream, Issacs Seafood Platter, Clam Cakes and chowder, Dunkin Coffee, Hot Weiners, creamed mushroom soup, peppers and onions on mashed and broccoli were his favorite foods.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his sons: Michael Lemoine and his wife, Colette of North Providence, RI, Matthew Lemoine and his wife, Nicole of Senoia, Georgia, his step-children: Stephen Kent of Phoenix, AZ, Barbara Andruchow of Plymouth, MA, Matthew Kent of Phoenix, AZ, Thomas Kent of Homosassa, FL, his grandchildren: David, Nicholas, Tristan, Ethan, Eli Lemoine, Jamison Audette and Helen Kent and his siblings: Richard Lemoine of Palm Coast, FL and Rochelle Surprenant of Greenville. He also had many nephews and nieces that he loved. He was the grandfather of the late Bryan Kent.
His funeral will be held Saturday at 9am from the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville, RI. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
