Obituary

Eddie Lee Perry entered peacefully into eternal rest on April 18, 2023 while at home. He was the youngest son of the late Bernice Perry. Eddie was affectionately known as Lee to friends and family members.
Eddie had a great smile and overall inviting presence. He had a huge laugh that was infectious. Eddie also had a special way with people. He could talk to just about anybody (and would, too).
He had an uncanny ability to get along with anyone regardless of who they were or where they came from. He was always someone out and about. There was seldom a time where you would call him, and he would be at home. He was a man on the move. Eddie was also someone you could call on whenever you needed help. It never mattered what the size of the task was; if he was available, he would be there to lend a hand. Prior to a debilitating back injury that rendered him incapable of continuing employment, he worked proudly as a security guard.
Eddie will be missed by his family and friends, all of whom carry many cherished memories.
Eddie is survived by his daughter Areana Moreland. His siblings Isiah Dillard and Elizabeth Jackson of Edenton, NC., Percy Perry of Alexandria, VA., Charles Dillard of Lynn, MA., Daisy Perry, Abell Perry, Delories Perry of Boston, MA and Vanessa Perry of Randolph, MA. Eddie also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, Tyrone Perry, Cheryl Perry, Samantha Coston, Ashley Perry, Ariel Perry, Charles Perry, Ursula Riley, and Akeen Perry, as well as aunts Marie Norman of Edenton, NC and Gail Jones of Rochester, NY.
