Joseph S. Pedi, 70, of Saugus MA, passed away on April 17, 2023.
Joe is survived by his siblings, Joanne M. Driscoll of Saugus, MA; Stephen P. Pedi and his wife Patricia of Ft. Myers, FL; and Robert J. Pedi of Saugus, MA. He is also survived by his niece and nephews, Jacqui M. Driscoll of Saugus, MA; Greg and his wife Michelle Pedi of Pelham, NH and their children Alexander, Ashley, and Alexis; Kyle Pedi of Saugus, MA; and Tyler Pedi of Saugus, MA. Predeceased by his parents Mario and Caroline Pedi of Saugus, MA.
Joe was born November 30, 1952 to Mario and Caroline Pedi. After receiving his Bachelor's Degree in Business from Northeastern University and his Master's in Business from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Joe founded and was the proprietor of Jolly Ice Cream in Somerville, MA. He went on to live in California for many years working as a teacher and working in the entertainment industry. Joe was a talented musician and prolific singer-songwriter. He was a master artisan, designing, building, and painting hundreds of guitars. Joe was devoted to meditation and spirituality, and he was always striving to be the best version of himself. He was a kind-hearted and generous soul.
Services will be held at the Holy Cross Chapel at 175 Broadway, Malden, MA on Friday, April 28, 2023 at 2:30PM with entombment at Holy Cross Mausoleum, in Malden
