East Bridgewater Charles A. Marble, Jr. died Wednesday June 7th at his home in East Bridgewater after a lengthy period of failing health. He was the husband of Lois T. (Hogan) Marble.
Born in Quincy on November 20, 1928 he was the son of the late Charles A. Sr. and Catherine E. (Schlager) Marble.
Mr. Marble was a graduate of Abington High School.
A veteran of WWII he later worked as a Quality Control Inspector at General Dynamics, where he worked until his retirement.
He enjoyed dancing, fishing and trips to Foxwoods.
In addition to his wife he is survived by a son and three daughters James M. Marble, Patricia A. Nunzio, Jean M. Marble and Nancy A. Marble; a brother Lawrence J. Marble and two sisters Pauline Creedon and Catherine E. Monsisi. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren and many nieces & nephews.
