Patricia G. Parkhurst, 85, of Dorr Road, Scituate, died Sunday, April 2, 2023 at Roger Williams Hospital in Providence. She was the widow of Francis L. Parkhurst, who died in 2011.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Rose (Hand) Harrison. She had lived in Scituate for 67 years.
Patricia is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Parkhurst and her husband, John Miguel of West Greenwich, her son, Robert Parkhurst of Scituate, her longtime companion, Oscar Caldarone of Richmond, her two grandsons: Thomas F. Garvey and his wife, Melissa of Canterbury, CT and Patrick H. Garvey and his companion, Lauren Macari of Canterbury, CT, a great granddaughter, Neive Rose Garvey and her sister, Rosemarie Cece of Florida.
Her funeral service will be held Thursday at 11:30am in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Burial will be in the RI Veteran’s Cemetery at a later day. Visitation will be Thursday morning 10:30-11:30am. Please omit flowers. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to Audubon Society of RI, Volunteer Services for Animals.
