Fall River – Michael F. Rusin, Jr., 92, of Westport died Tuesday at Charlton Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.
Born in Westport, son of the late Michael and Katherine (Cyronna) Rusin, and was a lifelong resident of Westport. Prior to his retirement he worked for Firestone Tire and Rubber Company, Fall River. Mr. Rusin was a communicant of Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport.
Survivors include 2 sons: Michael F. Rusin III of Fall River and Ronald S. Rusin and his wife Claudette of Westport; 2 daughters: Ann C. Costa and her husband Robert of Westport and Beverly M. Fink of Fall River; a brother: Joseph Rusin of Westport; 15 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and his cat Mittens.
Mr. Rusin was the father of the late Paul Rusin and the brother of the late Walter Rusin, Stanley Rusin, Mary Lennon, Sophie Michaud and Ann Levesque.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Saturday from the Potter Funeral Home at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport at 10:00 A.M.
Calling hours Friday 5 – 8 P.M.
Interment in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
