FITCHBURG – Jean J. (Lussier) Manning, 77, died Friday, March 24, 2023 in Health Alliance Clinton, Leominster campus after a short illness.
She leaves 3 children, Kevin R. Manning and his wife Kathy of Lenoir, TN, Wendy L. Manning of Townsend, and Shawn M. Manning and his wife Stephanie of Sangerville, ME; 3 grandchildren, Anthony J. Gaudet III, Dylan G. Manning and Tyler N. Manning; 2 sisters, Diane B. Bourque, and Linda M. Melanson and her husband Laurie, all of Fitchburg; cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was born on September 11, 1945 in Fitchburg, daughter of Raymond and Blanche (Nolette) Lussier and was currently a resident.
Jean worked as a home health aide for many years before retiring in the 1990’s.
She was a member of Saint Joseph Church. She liked gardening, traveling, going to the ocean and beach, and occasional trips to Foxwoods. Her special joy was her grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in Saint Joseph’s Cemetery, Clarendon Street. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of Sitkowski, Malboeuf & Hickey Funeral Home, 340 School Street, Webster.
