Obituary

STANDISH- Robert (Bob) Peter Pramis Jr., age 60, was found deceased in his home on March 27, 2023. Bob had been struggling with health issues.
Bob was born in Portland, Maine, son of the late Robert Peter Pramis and the late Blanche Ruth Pramis.
Bob started his life a “Hill Boy” spending his early years exploring the many wonders Munjoy Hill had to offer a young boy back then. He could often be found fishing off the piers on Commercial Street or running the train tracks on East End. Often testing his skills by trying to beat the train over the bridge.
After moving to Limington at the age of 9, he fell in love with the woods. He would spend all day exploring those woods and waterways. He and a couple of his buddies were known to cause a raucous now and then. If you guys are reading this you know who I’m talking about.
As an adult Bob discovered his love for camping. He and his wife Linda were regulars at Acres of Wildlife Campground in Steep Falls. He loved nothing more than to sit around a roaring campfire with friends and family sharing stories and memories.
Bob had a kind and gentle soul and absolutely loved his family. He was a loving and devoted husband. When Linda passed away in October of 2021 his heart was forever broken. Family meant the world to him. He will be missed terribly by friends and family.
