Melvin Drukman, 88, of Dunwoody, GA. Beloved husband of Linda Miller died at home surrounded by his family March 18th. Born in Boston, MA, he was the son of the late William and Lillian (Miller) Drukman. He enlisted in the Marines during the Korean War. After his service, he enrolled at the University of Miami, and earned his Electrical Engineering degree. After marrying his first wife, the late Edith Drukman, he moved to Florida and worked as a contractor to NASA during the Apollo moon space missions. He then was a manager for Bell South corporation for the next 25 years. Toward the end of his managerial career, he earned his Juris Prudence degree and became a lawyer. In addition to his wife he is survived by his children Susan Drukman-Crasnow and her husband Neal, Richard Drukman and his wife Lori, Michael Drukman and his wife Julie. He was the dear brother Robert Drukman and his wife Miriam, and loving grandfather of 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Services at the Torf Funeral Chapel, 151 Washington Ave., Chelsea on Tuesday, March 21 at 1:00PM followed by burial in Chevra Mishna Cemetery, Lynn. Donations in his memory may be made to Temple Emanu-El, 1580 Spalding Drive, Sandy Spring, GA 30350 or to a charity of your choice.
