Caleb Andrew Castleberry, 25, of Tifton passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at Tift Regional Medical Center. A graveside funeral service will be held for Caleb at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 20, 2023, at Oakey Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Berrien County, where he will be laid to rest. The Rev. Don Cross will officiate.
Gary Saunders, Kaden Saunders, Joey Castleberry, Will Castleberry, Chad Hodges and Donovan Boone will serve as pallbearers.
Born August 15, 1997, in Tifton, Caleb was the son of Paula Saunders Houston (Hank) of Sylvester and Craig Castleberry (Seph) of Valdosta. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Wayne Saunders. He worked as a meat cutter at Towson Meats in Tifton and he was of the Baptist faith. He was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan and really enjoyed their back-to-back National Championship wins.
In addition to his parents, Caleb is survived by his grandparents, Martha Hall of Brookfield, Ronnie Storey (Pam) of Tifton, Roy Castleberry (Judy) of Nashville and Bonnie McMurria of Sylvester; and a special friend, Katie Westberry.
