LACONIA ---- Richard Wilfred Alix, 80, of Laconia, died on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at his home with his loving wife at his side.
Richard was born March 30, 1942, in Holyoke, MA, the son of the late Wilfred Alix and Lillian (Gaumond) Alix.
Richard spent his career in the insurance, real estate and appraisal fields. He enjoyed dining out with his wife Frances and travelling to the Maine seashore.
Richard is survived by his loving wife of nearly 60 years, Frances (Piantek) Alix. He also leaves his cousins and lifetime friends.
A Calling Hour will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Saint Andre Bessette Parish – Sacred Heart, 291 Union Avenue, Laconia, NH.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Andre Bessette Parish – Sacred Heart.
Burial with military honors will follow at 1:00 p.m. at New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniels Highway, Boscawen, NH.
