VISITATION & PRAYER SERVICE WILL BE TUESDAY, MARCH 21, 2023 FROM 5 P.M. TO 7 P.M.


Miriam " Mim" Wynn (Mahoney) 94 of Tewksbury passed away March 8. She was the loving wife of the late John W. Wynn, who passed away September 14, 2007.

Mim was born and raised in Winthrop, the youngest child of the late Dr, Charles Mahoney and Agnes (Driscoll) Mahoney.

She was preceded in death by her siblings; Agnes, Paul, Charles Mahoney and Marguerite Donegan (Mahoney)

She is survived by her daughter Beth Paglia and her husband Michael of Methuen and her son Jeffrey J. Wynn and his wife Andrea of Bradford; three grandchildren, Ryan J., Erin M, and Sean J. Wynn, all of Bradford. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

After graduating from Notre Dame Academy in Boston, Mim continued her education at Marymount College in Tarrytown, NY, where she was known for her “cute Boston accent” and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology.

She spent her early career as a clerk in the Boston Federal Courts.

John and Mim were married in 1956 and in 1965 they moved to Tewksbury to raise their family.

Mim later worked as an aide at Shawsheen Valley Technical High School, where she retired from in 1994.

After retiring, and throughout her life, Mim enjoyed traveling. Annual family vacations to Cape Cod were the highlight of every year. She and John also traveled throughout the US, Bermuda, Europe and on several cruises. She also visited her dear friend Diane McSweeney, in Florida each March for several years.

Mim was very talented and attended ceramics classes for many years. Family and friends have several of her pieces in their homes. She was especially fond of making holiday decorations.

Mim had a great sense of humor and loved to spend time with family and friends, where she would often enjoy her favorite cocktail- VO on the rocks!

Visitation and a prayer service will be held will be TUESDAY, MARCH 21ST, from 5:00-7:00 p.m., at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee Street, Tewksbury, MA . In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lupus Foundation of America at www.lupus.org.
