Kraig W. York, age 55, of Norton, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 6, 2023 at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. He was the beloved husband of Kerry (Agee) York.

Born in Portland, Maine on December 19, 1967, he was a loving son of Lynda D. (Costa) Tyler of Pine Bush, New York and the late David A. York.

Kraig grew up in Norton and was a graduate of Norton High School. For six years, he honorable and proudly served his country and our grateful nation as a member of the United States Navy, during the time of Desert Storm. He was stationed in Charleston, South Carolina and on June 30, 1995, he was discharged from the service with the rank of Boiler Technician Third Class.

Kraig had also made his home in Charleston for many years and was previously employed for Amazon. He was a member of the Bristol Trinity Episcopal Church in North Easton and loved spending time with family and watching football.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his devoted children: David York of Charleston, SC, Kasandra York of Charleston, SC, Dennis Raine and his wife Kimberly of Saint Robert, Missouri and Katrina Agee of Norton. He was the cherished grandfather of Jacob Raine. He was the dear brother of Sherry Lynn Tidwell and her partner Peter Turgeon of Durham, NC, Keith A. York and his wife Peggy of Pine Bush, NY and the late Kenneth D. York and Sharon York. He is also survived by his loving aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a service in celebration of his life on Saturday, April 1st at 11:00 A.M. in the Bristol Trinity Episcopal Church, 143 Lincoln Street in North Easton. Burial accompanied with military honors will follow at the Timothy Plain Cemetery in Norton.

Visiting hours are omitted.
