Stefan, of Brockton, June 4, 2006, Stephen L. Stefan, 87 years. Beloved husband of the late Jacqueline R. “Jackie” (Voyer) Stefan. Loving father of Michelle M. Hansen and her husband Donald of Plymouth and Louise Ann Stefan-Archibald and her fiancé Robert Caruso of Easton. Beloved grandfather of Stephen Hansen. Brother of the late Bella Peters and Theresa Doggett.

Funeral Service in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Thursday at 10am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery. Visiting Hours Wednesday 5-8pm. Obituary Information

Stephen L. Stefan, 87 years, died Sunday evening at the Brockton Hospital of Leukemia. Born and raised in Brockton, son of the late Louis and File (Pappa) Stefan, he was a graduate of Brockton High School and had been a lifelong resident. He was a veteran of WWII, who served with the US Navy aboard the USS Lyon. For over 50 years he had been employed by Superior Baking Company in Brockton as a baker. Mr. Stefan loved gardening, especially creating different varieties of roses and flowering plants, landscaping, golf, walking and time spent with his family and friends.

He is survived by his two daughters Michelle M. Hansen and her husband Donald of Plymouth and Louise Ann Stefan-Archibald and her fiancé Robert Caruso of Easton, one grandson Stephen Hansen and many nieces and nephews. He was the husband of the late Jacqueline R. “Jackie” (Voyer) Stefan, whom he had been married to for 53 years before her death, and was the brother of the late Bella Peters and Theresa Doggett.
