Obituary

Mrs. Margaret A. “Peggy” (Mullin) Beggan, a resident of Londonderry, New Hampshire, formerly of Andover and beloved wife of the late Thomas F. Beggan, Jr., passed away at her home on Thursday, March 2, 2023. She was 79 years old.

Born in Boston, Massachusetts, on June 15, 1943, she was the beloved daughter of the late John Mullin and Margaret (MacDonald) Lawler. Peggy was a 1961 graduate of the Dorchester High School in Boston.

In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling with her husband, listening to music (especially 50’s) and spending time with her family at their vacation spot on Sebago Lake in Maine. She also had a special love for all animals and rooting for the Patriots. Above all, Peggy was a very devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed.

Peggy is survived by her loving children; Thomas F. Beggan 3rd, of Chester, New Hampshire, Dennis J. Beggan of Palm Coast, Florida and Lisa B. and her husband James M. Henneberry of Madison Connecticut, brother; Jack Mullin of Naugatuck, Connecticut, grandchildren; Patrick, Kate, Shaun, Robby and Matthew, in-laws; Pamela Beggan of Alexandria, Virginia and Barbara and Jeff Forsythe of Marshfield, Marie and Jerry Donegan, of Weymouth and several nieces and nephews.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 198 Haggett’s Pond Road, Andover on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at 11 AM. A celebration lunch will be held immediately after the service at The Chateau restaurant at 131 River Road, Andover.
